Philippa Brown has recently qualified as a West Midlands Ambulance Service Community First Responder and joins the Ettington Community First Responder team. Philippa becomes the 9th Community First Responder (CFR) in the Ettington CFR Scheme and, living in Halford, becomes our first CFR in that village. This will have a very positive impact on our response time for Halford and Idlicote. As with the rest of our team, in addition to her home village, Philippa will also cover the other Stourdene villages.
Philippa works part-time for a company specialising in branding and corporate identity. She has lived in Halford for 7 years and has two children. Philippa said; "As my youngest child is due to start school shortly, I felt that it would be a good time to get involved with the Scheme now that I should have a little more time on my hands!"
The team comprises of CFRs based in Alderminster, Ettington, Halford, Newbold-on-Stour, Pillerton Priors and Pillerton Hersey. The team also includes three 'non-responding' (non-CFR) members in key roles; Scheme Coordinator, Secretary and Treasurer.
