Villagers from Pillerton Hersey and Pillerton Priors enjoyed a Breakfast on the 8th May 2010 hosted by members of the Ettington Community First Responder team.  As a result of donations to the CFR team at this event, totalling £760, it was possible to buy the Automated External Defibrillator (for use in cardiac arrest situations) needed by the latest team member, Catherine Hewson, from Pillerton Priors.

The photograph shows Catherine receiving the AED, which completes her kit ready for when she goes live on-call on completion of her training.  In her job, she is a specialist and advisor in her own medical field, and she will be a great asset to the team.
